Lisbeth qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1985 and spent the majority of her early career working with small animals and exotics.
She moved to Cumbria in the late 1990's and was involved in setting up animal management courses at Newton Rigg college.
Lisbeth's greatest passion is wildlife conservation and rehabilitation, and in 2014 had the chance to be involved in the set up of the Animal Care Department in Kendal College.
The onsite Animal Rescue Centre has given her the opportunity to work first hand with wildlife casualty cases and the RSPCA Inspectorate, as well as the local vets and public.
In addition to her veterinary duties Lisbeth enjoys working with the students, hoping to inspire the next generation of animal carers to appreciate the wildlife around them and the welfare of
animals in their care.
